To discover your Flow, aka your inner Creatrix, I have provided you with this guided meditation. The act of setting an intention and being open to the journey and discovery, is a powerful tool to unlock your creativity.
Once you know who to call on, once She* has a visual in your minds eye, you can then bring Her* back with you and express Her* in the here and now, using whatever art materials or expression you feel called too.
You can paint Her*, draw Her*, sketch Her*. Maybe you want to write a poem about Her*. Maybe a song or dance flows from you. Maybe you just need to sit, sob and journal the experience. However She* appears to you, Flow with it. There is NO right or wrong here. Everyone’s journey and expression is unique. This space is for you to do whatever you need to do to unleash Her.
***“She” is the pronoun used to describe a Creatrix in Goddess Flow’s Article; “A Creatrix is a women who is deeply connected to herself as a Woman and the Feminine Source of Creative power. She gives rise to desires, gives birth to ideas and life of all kinds.”
I use this language and the pronoun She, as this is the energy I want you to tap into. Regardless of your gender or gender identity, we ALL as humans have Feminine and Masculine within us. We all have the ability to come from one or the other, or hopefully to be a nice balance and mix of both.
Creativity is an inherently Feminine Energy as it’s all about understanding, kindness, intuition, feelings, flow, ease, and surrender. These are all elements we will call on when stepping into our creative and emotional power.
Yes if you are pursuing a career in your creative endeavours, you need some Masculine qualities thrown in there like clarity, discipline, focus and confidence. But before that, you need to first tap into and open up your ability and desire to Create. This is why I have created this meditation.
