The Sacred Devotion of Showing Up

I made a quiet commitment to myself this month.

To show up.
Every single day.
To share something from my heart — for Freedom Rising, for my community, for my soul.

Not because I had to.
Not because an algorithm demanded it.
But because I could feel something stirring deep within me — a soft uprising of voice, consistency, and sacred expression wanting to land more fully into my life. A new devotion. A deeper rhythm.

And here’s the truth:

There were days when I had so much fire. I was ahead of the game. I had posts scheduled, content batched, ideas pouring through me at full volume. I’d sit at my desk and it would all just… flow.

But then there were days when it didn’t.

Days when I was foggy, heavy, late for my bleed (eight days late and still no sign), bone-tired or energetically blank.
Days when I could’ve said, “Not today.”
But I didn’t. I shared anyway. Even if it was just one post for each account. Even if it was soft and quiet and not my most profound piece of writing.

Because the act of showing up is sacred.
The devotion to self-expression — even when it’s imperfect or inconvenient — is healing.
It anchors trust. It anchors truth. It anchors freedom.

Not freedom in the traditional sense of escaping routine or being untethered.
But the kind of freedom that says:

✨ You get to choose your rhythm.
✨ You get to commit to something meaningful — and still honour your body.
✨ You get to be devoted without burning out.
✨ You get to show up even when your muse whispers instead of roars.

That’s what Freedom Rising means to me.
Not performing. Not forcing. Not faking.
But being with what is — and still choosing to express.
Still choosing to create.
Still choosing to say, "I’m here."

So if you’re navigating a path of purpose, creation, or visibility right now — I see you.
And this is your reminder:
You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to be on fire every day.
But if you can light a single candle — even in the dark — that’s enough.
That’s devotion.

Chiron, Completion & the Power of the Portal

Today, I pulled a card from my brand new astrology deck — The Numinous by Ruby Warrington — and the one that came forward? Chiron. The Wounded Healer.

This deck arrived alongside something else deeply significant: my driving licence. But not just any licence — this one bears the name I chose for myself. A name that was whispered into being almost a year ago with the help of the magical Psio. A name that I’ve been sitting with, slowly letting it reveal its meaning, its medicine, its resonance. A name I’ve been waiting until I was ready to truly claim.

And here it is.
Chiron.
Name claimed.
Portal open.

When I first encountered this deck last week in a reading with the beautiful Sarah Wooldridge, I felt its pull immediately. She spoke of truth, voice, visibility — of knowing I am here to use my voice and my story as medicine. Her words echoed something I’ve long felt, but something that feels louder now than ever:
I am here to speak.
I am here to heal through sharing.

So when Chiron in the 1st House came through this morning — the placement of Chiron in my own birth chart — it all clicked.
The 1st House governs identity. Who we are. How we see ourselves. How we show up in the world.
Chiron here is the invitation to heal the wounds of not-enoughness, of feeling unseen or unheard, and to turn that pain into profound purpose.
It asks us to reclaim ourselves — and today, that reclamation became physical.

This isn't loud or flashy healing.
This is the quiet, powerful moment where something is completed. A chapter closed. A thread tied off with sacred intention.
This is the healing that happens when we honour the timeline. When we say, "I'm ready now."
This is the portal moment.

And so today, I walk forward — open-hearted, wild-haired, with Chiron at my shoulder and my name as my spell.
Trusting the process. Trusting the magic.
Letting it all become part of the medicine I offer.

Let the Completion Be the Creation

There’s a sacredness in completion.

Not the hurried ending.
Not the ticking off.
But the soul-deep exhale of something that has been fully felt, fully honoured, and fully released.

Today’s image is a digital reworking of a painting I created years ago called “Tears of Growth.”
She came through in a moment of deep emotion — a tender wave of grief, of truth rising to the surface.

I saw the tears fall.
And I saw them land not in despair, but on fertile ground.
Each one, a seed.
Each one, a promise.

A new beginning, rooted in the ending.
A completion, becoming creation.

That is the power of emotional expression.
That is the magic of sitting with what is — not rushing to bypass or fix or package it in something pretty. But letting it move through. Letting it water the soil of what’s next.
