Atman - 6x9" Print of Original Watercolour, on Mohawk Fine Art Paper
This print was created originally as I journeyed to meet one of my spirit guides. I found myself drawing a face, but then was drawn to add different element. I could see the image unfolding as I created it. It was a androgynous human face, both male and female, with animal influences, nature spirits and the Elements.
Bringing balance to the whole spectrum I work with.
There is a song called Atman by Ksenia Luki & Josh Brill that inspired their name.
They describe Atman as: “Atman means the breathing one. It is the eternal Self which, according to Hindu cosmology, is present in all beings.The Upanishads describe Atman as the infinite, eternal, blissful, effulgent, transcendental, indestructible, divine, pure intelligence. It is the real Self, the core, the essence, the Soul.
